Darley has this morning announced that Group One-winning sprinter Holler (Commands) will stand at Northwood Park in Victoria in 2017 with a limited number of breeding rights to be offered.

Trained by John O’Shea, the son of Commands (Danehill) raced 14 times for four victories and five placings with his best result coming in last season’s Canterbury Stakes (Gr 1, 1300m).

A winner on debut over 1100 metres at Randwick in January 2015, Holler ran third in the Run To The Rose (Gr 2, 1200m) behind Exosphere (Lonhro) at his third start with his first stakes victory coming in the Telstra Phonewords Stakes (Gr 3, 1200m) at Moonee Valley in October 2015.

Winner of the Australia Stakes (Gr 2, 1200m) back at Moonee Valley last January, his Group One victory came two months later when he defeated First Seal (Fastnet Rock) in the Canterbury Stakes. This was followed up just under three weeks later with a second in the William Reid Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) to Flamberge (Exceed And Excel).

“Holler is a horse we are very proud of. He is a homebred who became a weight-for-age winner at the highest level in the Godolphin blue,” said Alastair Pulford, head of sales for Darley stallions in Australia.
