Prince Of Caviar (AUS) 3 c Sebring – Black Caviar by Bel Esprit

After resuming with two promising seconds, Prince Of Caviar scored a very good win yesterday – his first in four starts to date. He was smartly away, settled nicely outside the leader, got the upper hand on passing the 200 metres and then went on to win in good style.

Bred by Neil Werrett, who retains an ownership stake, the colt is the second foal out of the champion mare Black Caviar (Bel Esprit), following the two-time winner Oscietra (Exceed And Excel). Black Caviar had a filly by Snitzel (Redoute’s Choice) in 2016 and another daughter last year by More Than Ready (Southern Halo) before visiting I Am Invincible (Invincible Spirit) last November.
