Sister to Russian Revolution finalises Magic Millions catalogue
A sister to multiple Group 1 winner and Newgate Farm stallion Russian Revolution (Snitzel), and a lifetime breeding right to I Am Invincible (Invincible Spirit), are among the final supplementary entries for next week’s Magic Millions National sale at the Gold Coast.
Ballet De Joie (Snitzel), an unraced three-year-old filly, will be sold through the Newgate Farm draft as Lot 1196.
She is offered in foal to champion sire I Am Invincible, making her a close relation to Coolmore’s dual Group 1-winning sire Home Affairs (I Am Invincible), who is out of a half-sister to Ballet De Joie in Miss Interiors (Flying Spur).
Set to attract plenty of interest is the lifetime breeding right on offer to Yarraman Park’s flagbearer I Am Invincible.
Catalogued as Lot 718, the lifetime breeding right entitles the purchaser to one nomination each calendar year to I Am Invincible, who will stand for a record fee of $302,500 (inc GST) this coming breeding season.
Miss Roseiano (Exceed And Excel), a debut winner of the Blue Diamond Preview (f) (Gr 3, 1000m) as a juvenile, will also be offered at the National sale as Lot 702.
The three-year-old, who also finished second in the Blue Diamond Prelude (f) (Gr 2, 1100m), will be presented by Yarraman Park. She is out of the stakes-placed mare Special Lover (Pins) and from the family of Group 1 winners Don Eduardo (Zabeel) and Tristalove (Sir Tristram), both of who are out of the filly’s Group 1-winning third dam Diamond Lover (Sticks And Stones).
Stallion shares in the recently retired multiple Group 1 winner Jacquinot (Rubick) and Extreme Choice’s (Not A Single Doubt) Group-winning son Extreme Warrior will also go under the hammer.
The National sale gets underway with the 455-lot Weanling sale on Thursday at the Gold Coast, followed by the Broodmare sale on May 23-25.
