Bidding now open for Magic Millions Digital Sale
Bidding is now open for the Magic Millions Digital (27 March-1 April) Sale with 83 lots catalogued, the majority offered unreserved.
Vendors represented include Amelia Park, Daandine Stud, Cornerstone Stud, Erinvale Thoroughbreds, Eureka Stud, Golden Grove, Lyndhurst Stud Farm, Ciaron Maher Racing, Murrulla Stud, Proven Thoroughbreds, Seymour Equine Services, Trinder Racing, and Widdup Racing, among others.
Amongst the highlights, Proven Thoroughbreds is offering 18 unreserved shares in various horses on behalf of the estate of one of their prolific owners, the late Anthony Halloran.
Halloran raced horses such as The Everest (Gr 1, 1200m) winner Think About It (So You Think). The unreserved dispersal features shares in juveniles through to city winners, one highlight being a ten per cent share in Wild Thoughts (So You Think), who is targeting the $1,000,000 Provincial-Midway Championship Final (1400m) on Day 2 of The Championships at Randwick and is scheduled to run in a qualifying heat at Newcastle on Tuesday.
In the Racehorse and Race Filly categories, Widdup Racing offers Afloat (Astern), a four-year-old gelding who is a provincial winner and placed three times from 11 starts to date. Ciaron Maher Racing offers Delivering (Justify), a consistent Melbourne city winner who has won or placed on 16 occasions from 27 starts. That’s Molly (Dissident), offered by Glen Milligan Racing, is a city-winning mare who has earned over $337,000 in prize-money and last raced at Gold Coast on March 14.
Highlights continue in the Broodmare category with Harbour Fun (Harbour Watch), offered by Eureka Stud. She is already the dam of Armansaco Stakes (Gr 2, 1400m) winner Sassy Boom (Spirit Of Boom) and, importantly, is offered in-foal to Spirit Of Boom (Sequalo). Jaguar Stone (Spieth), offered by Trinder Racing, is an exciting breeding prospect. She is a Magic Millions Tasmanian 2YO Classic (1200m) winner, is also Group placed and is completely free of Danehill (Danzig), making her an easy mating proposition.
Rounding out the catalogue is a selection of untried and unbroken stock, as well as a significant number of yearlings by stallions such as Alabama Express (Redoute’s Choice), Barbaric (I Am Invincible), Better Than Ready (More Than Ready), Farnan (Not A Single Doubt), Paulele (Dawn Approach), Pierata (Pierro), Shamus Award (Snitzel), State Of Rest (Starspangledbanner), Tassort (Brazen Beau) and others.
Bidding is now open and will begin closing from 12pm (QLD time) on Wednesday, April 1. To view the catalogue, please click here.
