See You In Heaven headlines Magic Millions supplementaries
The build up to this month’s Magic Millions National Weanling and Broodmare Sale picked up on Thursday with the release of the completed supplementary catalogues.
The latest highlight entries include the five-time Group winner See You In Heaven (Divine Prophet) – a winner of over $830,000 for connections.
It will be the third trip to the sales ring for the Richard and Chantelle Jolly-trained mare when she goes to the Gold Coast – her first major public appearance came when she was sold for $27,000 at the 2020 National Weanling Sale, before selling to her trainers for $90,000 as a yearling in the same ring a year later.
Sweltering (Too Darn Hot), who ran second to Benagil (Manhattan Rain) in the recent Australasian Oaks (Gr 1, 2000m), is also heading to the Gold Coast for the Busuttin Racing stable. She holds entries for both the Queensland Derby (Gr 1, 2400m) and Queensland Oaks (Gr 1, 2200m).
Blue Diamond Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) placegetter Kuroyanagi (Written Tycoon) is another quality prospect joining the catalogue. The three-year-old daughter of Written Tycoon (Iglesia) has earned over $400,000 from just ten starts.
Other additional lots for the racefillies section on the opening day of the National Broodmare Sale include the stakes performers In Her Eyes (Star Witness), Iphimedia (Exceed And Excel) and The Dabble Effect (Zousain).
The broodmare section also welcomes Australasian Oaks winner Media Award (Shamus Award), who is offered in foal to Maurice (Screen Hero) at her second season at stud.
Wellington Guineas (Gr 2, 1400m) winner Gold Bracelet (Pins) joins the international section on day one, while French stakes winner Noor Sahara (Lope De Vega) heads to auction in foal to I Am Invincible (Invincible Spirit).
The latest lots join the earlier announced supplementary stars headlined by Group 1 heroines Lady Laguna (Overshare) and Femminile (Dundeel). Also among the headliners is Magic Millions 2YO Classic (RL, 1200m) winner Skirt The Law (Better Than Ready).
Meanwhile, the catalogue for the National Weanling Sale, which kicks off the National Sale Series on May 25, has welcomed six more lots.
Youngsters by sires including Admire Mars (Daiwa Major), North Pacific (Brazen Beau), Profiteer (Capitalist), Stronger (Not A Single Doubt) and Tagaloa (Lord Kanaloa) join a quality packed catalogue – now with 371 catalogued lots.
The National Weanling Sale is renowned for producing racehorses with graduates including Zoustar (Northern Meteor), Pierro (Lonhro), Pinstriped (Street Boss), Tropical Squall (Prized Icon), Generosity (Divine Prophet), Stay Inside (Extreme Choice) and Sydney’s unbeaten sensation Autumn Glow (The Autumn Sun).
