Darley Australia strengthens nominations team
Darley Australia have announced several key appointments around their nominations team, with Lisa Manning appointed nominations manager in Victoria and Arvin Chadee appointed nominations manager in New South Wales.
They are supported by new additions Tess O’Connor (nominations sales consultant, VIC) and Sebastian Angelillo (nominations sales consultant, NSW).
In Victoria, Manning will oversee a roster that includes Street Boss, Newmarket Handicap (Gr 1, 1200m) winner Cylinder (Exceed And Excel) and the exciting young shuttler Blue Point (Shamardal).
With over 25 years of experience in the thoroughbred industry, Manning has worked with some of Australia’s most respected farms, including Newhaven Park, Reavill Farm and Vinery.
“The roster across Victoria and New South Wales is in a really exciting place right now. I’m thrilled to be working with Tess, and together, we’re focused on giving breeders access to the best stallions, backed by the best support we can provide,” said Lisa.
Chadee will oversee the NSW nominations roster, which includes the nine-time Group 1-winning champion Anamoe (Street Boss), Bivouac (Exceed And Excel), and shuttlers Harry Angel (Dark Angel) and Pinatubo (Shamardal).
Chadee brings a global perspective to the team being a graduate of the renowned Godolphin Flying Start program. His career has included work with UK trainers Karl Burke, Michael Appleby and Dean Ivory.
Having been on the Darley nominations team for three years, Chadee’s knowledge and enthusiasm is already highly valued by breeders from all over Australia.
“My international experience has given me great insights and with our shuttle stallions making such an impact, I’m eager for the season ahead. Having Sebastian on the team adds another valuable international perspective, which is a massive asset,” said Arvin.
