Bountiful and Many Men to be offered at Tattersalls Online Southern Hemisphere Pop-Up Sale

Bountiful (Zoustar) and Many Men (Study Of Man) have been catalogued for next week’s Tattersalls Online Southern Hemisphere Pop-Up Sale, to be held in collaboration with Inglis Digital Australia.

Highclere consign the Listed-placed Bountiful, a daughter of Zoustar (Northern Hemisphere). With appeal as both a racing and breeding prospect, the three-year-old is out of May Hill Stakes (Gr 2, 1m) winner and Fillies’ Mile (Gr 1, 1m) fourth Rich Legacy (Holy Roman Emperor), from the family of German champion siblings Boreal (Java Gold) and Borgia (Acatenango).

A winner of two races as a juvenile, Bountiful closed out last year’s campaign with a close fourth place in the Duchess of Cambridge Stakes (Gr 2, 6f) and resumed this season to finish third in the Spring Cup (Listed, 7f) at Lingfield.

Also offered in the sale is the progressive Many Men, consigned by Jim Boyle Racing. The three-year-old gelding by Study Of Man (Deep Impact) was a comfortable winner of a Class 3 Ascot handicap over two miles last month. The well-bred stayer has proven his versatility, winning from ten furlongs to two miles and handling ground ranging from soft to good to firm.

Out of the dual winning Mariee (Archipenko), Many Men hails from the fine Lanwades family of Group 1 winner Lady Jane Digby (Oasis Dream).

Tattersalls Online sales manager Katherine Sheridan said: “Tattersalls Online is pleased to continue its unique partnership with Inglis Digital, following the success of the inaugural southern hemisphere session in December last year. The aim of this pioneering initiative is to expand on the opportunities available to vendors and purchasers in the global thoroughbred marketplace. This sale has been strategically timed to align with upcoming racing carnivals in the southern hemisphere and we are delighted to be taking a collaborative approach to presenting these horses to the widest possible audience.”

Inglis Bloodstock sales manager and European representative Harry Bailey added: “I have seen Bountiful and she makes obvious appeal to an Australasian audience. She is good looking with some quality form and good depth of pedigree. Zoustar is a champion stallion now and a likely champion broodmare sire of the future, so it makes sense that his daughters would be well sought after.

“Our first Digital Sale collaboration with Tattersalls in December worked particularly well and these two horses provide an excellent opportunity to leverage our respective networks to the benefit of the vendors.”

Bidding for the sale will begin at 11am on Wednesday, August 6 and will close from 11am the following day on the Tattersalls Online website at www.tattersallsonline.com.
