A rare chance to have a nomination in champion first and second season sire Too Darn Hot (Dubawi) headlines the Inglis Digital August online sale, which features a diverse catalogue of 302 lots.
The stallion’s first southern hemisphere crop is the best in Australia this century, headed by four-time Group 1 winner Broadsiding. His yearlings have sold up to $1.9 million with horses in training up to $2.4 million (Too Darn Lizzie).
The sale is a collaboration between Godolphin, Watership Down Stud and CatWalk with will see all proceeds go directly toward funding critical research to help those living with spinal cord injuries.
Other highlights include Plenty Of Ammo (Rebel Raider), a Group 2 winner and broodmare prospect, Ahuriri (Almanzor), a stakes-winning relation to Lucia Valentina, Cold Brew (Pierro), who has won on his past three starts and ATC Oaks (Gr 1, 2400m)-placed Premise (Contributer).
Stakes-placed Aztec State (Pierro), metro winners Blinked (Frosted) and Cleanemup (Rich Enuff), and blueblood broodmares such as Inca Lagoon, dam of Group 1 winner Ivictory, and Shrill (Sharmardal), who is in foal to Bivouac (Exceed And Excel) also feature. Shrill’s yearlings have sold up to $425,000.
The sale comprises 151 racehorses, 61 broodmares, 71 shares and breeding rights with bidding from 10am Wednesday.
