‘I have no doubt that in months and years to come, we’ll be talking about the 2026 Chairman’s Sale’
A top-drawer line-up of the finest breeding stock – as well as a share in Newgate stalwart Extreme Choice (Not A Single Doubt) – headline the catalogue for the tenth edition of the Inglis Chairman’s Sale, which is now available online.
A total of 104 lots have been catalogued for the sale, including 67 stakes horses or stakes producers, 27 pregnant mares on their first or second cover, 95 fillies/mares aged ten or younger, and 24 mares that are free of Danehill (Danzig) blood.
There are a number of high-class fillies and mares included in the sale, such as Goodwood Handicap (Gr 1, 1200m) winner Benedetta (Hellbent), three-time Group 1 scorer Provence (Savabeel), millionaire earners Arabian Summer (Too Darn Hot) and Generosity (Divine Prophet), and multiple stakes winners such as In Flight (Flying Artie), Eternal Flame (Sacred Falls), Jennilala (Shalaa), Spicy Martini (Justify), and Just Feelin’ Lucky (Justify).
Also included is Aeliana’s (Castelvecchio) half-sister Summer In Capri (Proisir), Classique Legend’s (Not A Single Doubt) half-sister I Am Famous (I Am Invincible), as well as the dams of the Golden Slipper (Gr 1, 1200m) quinella in Guest House (Home Affairs) and Streisand (Magnus) and the dam of Group 1-winning juvenile Captured By Love (Written Tycoon).
Mares in foal to stallions such as Extreme Choice – whose yearlings averaged more than $1.5 million at this week’s Easter Yearling Sale – I Am Invincible (Invincible Spirit), Zoustar (Northern Meteor), Anamoe (Street Boss), Harry Angel (Dark Angel), Home Affairs (I Am Invincible), Not This Time (Giant’s Causeway), Ole Kirk (Written Tycoon), Shinzo (Snitzel), Street Boss (Street Cry), Super Seth (Dundeel), The Autumn Sun (Redoute’s Choice), and Too Darn Hot (Dubawi) will go through the ring.
The auction will be held at Riverside Stables on the evening of Thursday, May 7 from 4pm and will again be held with a ‘where elegance meets excellence’ theme.
Inglis Bloodstock CEO Sebastian Hutch was “delighted” with the catalogue.

“In the first year, amongst the 61 fillies and mares offered, acting on behalf of Torryburn Stud, Belmont Bloodstock purchased Miss Interiors for $625,000 and she would go on to become the dam of Coolmore Stud Stakes winner Home Affairs, now a Golden Slipper-winning sire with his first crop.
“The sale has been generating results of major significance, in terms of both the local and international bloodstock market, ever since.
“Golden Slipper-winning colts, Stay Inside and Shinzo, were sold in utero at the sale while other mares offered at Chairman’s include the dams of subsequent Group 1 winners Autumn Glow, Imperatriz, Home Affairs, Apocalyptic, Caballus, She’s Extreme and international star In Italian amongst others.
