Extreme Choice share headlines May (Early) Online Sale

A share in Newgate Farm stallion Extreme Choice (Not A Single Doubt), two breeding rights in leading first-season sire Bivouac (Exceed And Excel) and a half-sister to Golden Slipper (Gr 1, 1200m) winner Farnan (Not A Single Doubt) headline a quality catalogue for the Inglis Digital May (Early) Online Sale.
Extreme Choice is already the sire of five individual Group 1 winners from his first 115 runners and has also been a commercial sensation – in the last couple of years in particular – with his yearlings selling for up to $1.7 million and averaging in excess of $579,999 across the Inglis Easter and Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sales.
Extreme Choice is confirmed to be standing the 2025 breeding season at a service fee of $330,000 (inc GST), the most expensive sire in the southern hemisphere outside of Coolmore shuttler Wootton Bassett (Iffraaj) ($385,000, inc GST).
Two breeding rights in Darley’s Bivouac are another exciting element of the May (Early) Sale.
The fastest first-season sire to produce two Group winners since his own sire Exceed And Excel (Danehill), Bivouac’s second-crop yearlings have outperformed the first, averaging $350,000 at the 2025 Easter Yearling Sale.
Meanwhile, Summer Surf (Big Brown) – a winning half-sister to Golden Slipper winner and in-demand freshman sire Farnan – is being offered in foal to Swettenham Stud sire Toronado (High Chaparral).
In total the May (Early) Sale has 531 entries – 195 broodmares, 194 racehorses (102 race fillies), 59 racehorse shares, 51 yearlings, 27 weanlings, 4 breeding rights and 1 unbroken stock. To view the catalogue click here.
