Inglis release catalogue for first digital sale of 2024
Recent Perth Cup (Gr 2, 2400m) winner Casino Seventeen (Casino Prince), a Group-placed Snitzel (Redoute’s Choice) mare in foal to Justify (Scat Daddy) and a Group 1-placed son of Redoute’s Choice (Danehill) are among the highlights of the first Inglis Digital online sale for 2024.
The January Sale will see 455 lots offered – 318 racehorses (138 race fillies), 56 broodmares, 52 racehorse shares, 25 yearlings, three unbroken stock and one stallion.
One of the standout entries is millionaire Inglis Classic Yearling Sale graduate Casino Seventeen, the consistent stayer who took his tally to nine wins from 35 starts when landing the $1 million Perth Cup at the start of the month.
Slumber Party (Snitzel), carrying a Justify pregnancy, is another eye-catching offering in the January Sale.
Twice placed in stakes company at two, the well-bred mare has had three runners to race – all of whom are winners – while her yearling daughter by Zoustar (Northern Meteor) was sold for $375,000 to Bjorn Baker Racing, Cunningham Thoroughbreds and Clarke Bloodstock at last week’s Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
The Group 1 performer Military Expert (Redoute’s Choice) is also likely to attract significant attention. The Annabel Neasham-trained five-year ran third in the Toorak Handicap (Gr 1, 1600m) in 2022 and has been stakes placed on another four occasions, in addition to posting four wins.
