Scenic Lodge dispersal headlines Inglis February Online Sale
Scenic Lodge have catalogued a 46-lot unreserved dispersal at the Inglis Digital February (Early) Online Sale, which is now open for bidding.
Situated in the north of Perth, Scenic Lodge has bred the likes of dual hemisphere Group 1 winner Scenic Blast (Scenic) and Kingston Town Stakes (Gr 1, 1800m) winner Playing God (Blackfriars), and is offering a range of broodmares (29), yearlings (9), weanlings (6) and racehorses (2) as part of the dispersal.
Among the Scenic Lodge offerings is Simply Wicked (Scenic), who is the dam of Group 1 winner Delicacy (Al Maher), stakes-placed mares, siblings to stakes winners, mares in foal and with foals at foot and well-bred yearlings and weanlings including siblings to a Group 1 placegetter and stakes placegetter.
The Scenic Lodge draft is among the 394-strong catalogue for the February (Early) sale which includes 179 racehorses (65 race fillies), 82 racehorse shares, 81 broodmares, 42 yearlings, 6 weanlings and 4 unraced stock.
Godolphin has a draft of eight for the sale, headlined by stakes winners Gravina (Sebring) and Bacchanalia (Exceed And Excel), while talented young mare Fast Star (Zoustar) is another particularly interesting entry in the sale.
A four-year-old, Fast Star is the winner of two races from just five starts – including her most recent start a fortnight ago – and is a half sister to the five-time Group 1-winning champion sprinter Santa Ana Lane (Lope De Vega). She is being offered as a racing and breeding prospect.
