The Ciaron Maher trained Utopic Future (I Am Invincible) made a promising, winning debut on the Pakenham Synthetic on Monday, running out a narrow victor of a 1400 metre contest.

Ridden by Thomas Stockdale, the three-year-old I Am Invincible (Invincible Spirit) colt proved 0.1 lengths too strong for La Reina Vega (Lucky Vega) with a further 1.3 lengths back to the third placed Crusading Knight (Russian Camelot).

Bred by Yarraman in partnership, the colt was a $600,000 purchase out of the stud for Hong Kong Bloodstock and NPC at the 2025 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.

He is the first foal out of the stakes winning Lope De Vega (Shamardal) mare Noor Sahara, who is from the family of champion sprinter-miler Dream Ahead (Diktat) and Group 1 winner Fairyland (Kodiac).

Noor Sahara was sold at the 2025 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale for $550,000 to Alma Vale Thoroughbreds and had an I Am Invincible filly sell at the Inglis Australian Weanling Sale this year for $400,000 to Wattle Bloodstock.

Meanwhile, Yarraman sold her now two year-old colt for $400,000 at Inglis Easter this year to KPW Bloodstock, and the mare is also in foal this spring to champion racehorse Anamoe (Street Boss).
